(September 19, 2019) – Directed, a leader in Remote Start and Security, Connected Car and Ignition Interlock Products, today announced that Edgar Mendivil has joined the company as Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain. He will be responsible for end-to-end global sourcing and operations functions: supplier selection, management and quality assurance; demand planning and ordering; inbound and outbound shipping, logistics and warehouse operations. He will report to Bob Struble, Directed CEO, and sit on the Executive Staff.

Mr. Mendivil has spent his entire career managing sourcing and operations for both large and small electronics companies. Most recently, he led supply chain and customer service management for Ecosense Lighting, a high-end lighting manufacturer. Previously he worked in supply chain and operations at Infineon and Broadcom, two multi-billion dollar semiconductor and electronics companies. Mr. Mendivil earned a B.S. in Computer and Digital Electronics Engineering from Universidad Autonoma de Baja California, an M.S. in Operations Management from CETYS Universidad, and his M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
