DOW Pays Out Rebates & Delivers Lottery Winner Check

TAMPA, Fla. (July 28, 2025) – DOW Technologies, the leading independently owned technology distributor, recently wrapped up the first quarter of its Rewards+ program with a bang! Customers who participated are receiving their well-earned rebate checks this week. One lucky winner got a surprise delivery when DOW’s president and ceo, John Yodzis, hand-delivered the first quarterly lottery check on Tuesday, July 22.

Launched on April 1st, DOW’s Rewards+ program gives customers the chance to earn up to 5% back on their purchases of Red Atom brand products each quarter. The more a customer buys, the higher the percentage of the rebate. Members of DOW’s Smart Services program earn a percentage boost for their rebates. Qualifying purchases totaling $500 or more throughout the quarter also enter customers into a growing jackpot lottery, funded by a percentage of Red Atom sales throughout the quarter.

In just its first quarter, DOW paid out over $8,000 in rebates — and the jackpot for the Rewards+ lottery hit a massive $10,125.59. Fortech LLC of Chattanooga, TN, was the big winner, and John Yodzis personally delivered the check to mark the occasion in style.

Founder of Maxxsonics USA Hands Day-to-Day Reins to Brian Sherman.

Libertyville, IL – After a storied career spanning nearly five decades, Alden Stiefel, a true pioneer of the 12-volt audio and security industry, is stepping down as CEO of Maxxsonics USA and moving into the role of Chairman of the Board. Brian Sherman, longtime Vice President of Product and Marketing, will assume the role of President effective July 8th.

Alden’s journey began in the 1970s with a small retail store and evolved into a career that shaped and elevated some of the most respected brands in the industry. He rose through the ranks to become Executive Vice President of Clifford Electronics during its heyday, playing a central role in building one of the most iconic automotive security brands of the 1980s and 1990s. Innovative PeakCool™ Internal Heat Sink Enables High-Performance Class A/B Amplification in Luxury Vehicle's Confined Spaces

Oxnard, Calif., June 25, 2025 - Modus has once again demonstrated its ability to enhance and increase luxury vehicle sound systems with its 2024 Aston Martin DB12 install.

“World-class luxury vehicles such as the Aston Martin already come equipped with exceptional factory sound systems and optimal speaker placement," said Jason Digos, Modus Senior Sales Trainer. "However, there are unique challenges that can limit overall performance. In a convertible with the top down, you lose significant bass and high-frequency output while battling road noise. These performance cockpits are also extremely compact, so low-end response often suffers due to space constraints that prevent proper subwoofer placement and powerful amplification.”

Modus turned to the team at Delta Concepts for this special project. To fabricate the in-floor subwoofer enclosure, Delta collaborated with Fat Fender Garage for 3D scanning and JT Torres from Automotive Entertainment for large-format 3D printing expertise to house a shallow 10-inch Modus Apex subwoofer. The team also integrated two Modus Apex Class A/B 750-watt 4-channel amplifiers and one 750-watt monoblock into the Aston Martin’s existing system. The result is a noticeable increase in power output and overall performance for what was already a high-end factory system.

The vehicle will be used as a company demo vehicle at strategic events and locations throughout the year.
