Oracle Lighting Launches Oculus™ Bi-LED Projector Headlights for 2021+ Ford Bronco at 2022 SEMA Show
Available in November 2022 andCompatible with Both Standard and Signature Bronco Lighting Models, the New Headlights Feature a Unique Modular Design, Easy Plug & Play Installation, and Advanced LED Projection for Enhanced Driver Visibility in All Weather Conditions
METAIRIE, LA, Sept. 8, 2022 – Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com), the market leader in creating high quality lighting products and innovative LED solutions for the automotive aftermarket, is proud to announce the launch of the new Oculus™ Bi-LED Projector Headlights for 2021+ Ford Bronco during the 2022 SEMA Show, held in Las Vegas, Nev. from Nov. 1-4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth # 20137. The new headlight system is scheduled to ship Nov. 2022 with a projected MSRP of $689.95.
“Featuring a unique modular design, easy plug-and-play installation, and advanced LED projection with 5,200 Lumens of high-quality illumination for enhanced driver visibility in all weather conditions, the Oculus headlight is compatible with both the standard and signature Bronco lighting models,” explained Justin Hartenstein, Oracle Lighting director of development. “Oculus utilizes precision LED lighting projector for optimum light distribution and beam angle, installs using original mounting hardware, and headlight wiring is plug & play into the factory connector without additional relays or harnesses. Halo is available in white or amber LED and features more than 200 bright LEDs for a vivid lighting impact.”
These all-new headlamps provide enhanced driver visibility with increased and focused LED light output, featuring a high-precision sharp cut-off line which reduces glare and prevents blinding oncoming traffic even when installed on lifted Broncos. Package includes a tool for easy beam angle adjustability.
“The new modular design allows separate components (turn signal, marker lights, and mounting tabs) to be installed independently,” Hartenstein continued. “This modular design provides smaller packaging size for lower shipping costs for the end user and prevents possible damage from shipping on these components. The modular design also allows for these individual components to be replaced or upgraded down the road when future options are available."
It is undeniably important to implement proper thermal management tools for high-performance LEDs to operate with reliability in various environments. Oculus utilizes both active and passive cooling methods to sustain low LED temperatures. Remote mounted heat sinks and an internal cooling fan work in conjunction to insure proper temperature control and longevity of the LEDs.
“Light focus is very important for not only driver safety but others on the road who can potentially have their vision obstructed by glare,” Hartenstein concluded. “This is especially significant on lifted vehicles where the light source is raised and, in a position, to interfere with the field of vision of other drivers. These new Oculus headlights feature a very sharp cut-off line and focus light with precision specifically to avoid such issues."
Oculus product specifications include:
- Headlight wattage: 36W each
- Total lumens: 5200LM

Recently launched and now available, the A.I.R. Solo™ (Antimicrobial Irradiation Respirator) is a wearable UVGI face mask that is designed to be worn under common face masks in order to protect both users and those around them, killing live viruses such as coronavirus, pathogens, bacterium, or other microorganisms attached to the fabric’s surface.
“We are all familiar with the CDC statement ‘Your mask protects me; my mask protects you’,” said Troy Organo, co-inventor of the product. “The A.I.R. Solo provides protection against viruses for both the user and others. High-risk individuals cannot simply rely on others to respect their health safety. The Solo provides benefits to the user while also sanitizing outgoing air to protect others. While this product is beneficial for high-risk individuals, it is for anyone going into a higher-risk environment such as public transportation, flying, or even for simply going to the grocery store.”
Ideal for both consumers and professionals alike, the A.I.R. Solo is the extra layer of protection that can help mitigate exposure to COVID-19 and other viruses as the country begins to re-open. Now shipping, the A.I.R. Solo has been designed and engineered in the USA with a special pre-order introductory price of only $119.95 USD.
This device also benefits those who wear cloth face coverings, according to Hartenstein. “Studies have shown that respiratory pathogens on the outer surface of cloth masks can actually result in self-contamination, which is exactly what they are intended to prevent,” he said. “Because of this, we see the unique UV irradiation benefits of A.I.R. Solo as the best sanitization scenario for helping to mitigate exposure to COVID-19 and other viruses.”
Wavelengths between 200-300 nanometers, such as the UV-C LEDs integrated into the A.I.R. Solo provide the most effective germicidal function. This is because the wavelength of UV-C irradiation utilizes photons to inactivate the virus which prevents the cell from replicating and infecting the body if inhaled. The A.I.R. Solo’s UV-C LED emitters are integrated into the airflow partition of the device which is designed to scrub the air and sterilize the cloth mask simultaneously.
Research has shown effectiveness of UV-C LEDs against Coronavirus. A recent study by Sensor Electronic Technology, Inc. (SETi) has demonstrated 99.9 percent effectiveness against COVID-19 and determined that COVID becomes even more sterile when placed closer to the UV-C source. The A.I.R. Solois designed to channel the incoming air within 5mm of the UV-C source providing increased effectiveness and sterilization.
Is the A.I.R. Solo safe?
For years hospitals and labs have used ultraviolet light for disinfection and medical sanitation against viruses. Commonly known as “Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation,” UVGI is a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by disrupting their DNA in a manner which renders the cells inactive and unable to perform cellular functions. Multiple tests have demonstrated that no measurable amount of UV-C light is directed towards the user wearing the device.
“UV-C light has been used in many applications such as the purification of drinking water for decades,” explained Hartenstein. “While UV-C is part of the normal spectrum of sunlight, it is invisible and can cause sunburn with direct skin exposure. This was taken into account when developing the A.I.R. Solo, and the UV light is outward and away from the user to prevent any direct skin exposure. Testing has shown that no measurable amount of UV-C light is directed towards the user wearing the device.”
Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) is a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet C (UVC) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids which, in turn, disrupts their DNA, rendering them inactive by leaving these cells unable to perform vital cellular functions. UVGI is already used in a variety of applications, such as food, air, and water purification. The application of UVGI to disinfection has been an accepted practice since the mid-20th century. UV-C radiation has often been presumed to be the most potent carcinogen of all UV. However, studies such as one from CIE show this is a misconception based upon a lack of appreciation of the very shallow penetration depth of 254 nm radiation in human skin. Today it is considered that UV-C radiation, if appreciably carcinogenic at all, is far less carcinogenic to humans than solar UV-B radiation.

The Metairie, LA-Based Company Has Been a Market Leader in Innovative LED Lighting Solutions for the Automotive Aftermarket Since 1999
METAIRE, LA, Oct. 12, 2021 – Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com) is proud to announce that it has been named a finalist for SEMA’s Manufacturer of the Year. Also, for the third year in a row, founder Justin Hartenstein has been named a finalist for the prestigious SEMA Gen-III Innovator of the Year.
The Manufacturer of the Year Award is presented annually to recognize one company that represents the industry's core values through innovative processes and products, outstanding business practices, workforce excellence, protection of brand equity, and active SEMA participation in the support of the automotive aftermarket.
“We are incredibly proud to be finalists for two industry awards, and it is an honor to be recognized in our first nomination for Manufacturer of the Year,” said Tiffanie Hartenstein, Oracle Lighting Chief Executive Officer. “Our team values the opportunity to be an engaged member of SEMA and to contribute to the continued success of the automotive aftermarket industry. As a company, we thrive on innovation in all aspects and are committed to fostering growth in spite of the challenges our industry has faced. We are excited to represent the values that propel us forward in enriching the aftermarket experience.”
One of just two individual awards that the SEMA organization presents each year, the Gen-III innovator is an honor given to a young innovator who exhibits the same pioneering spirit as the original industry founders. According to SEMA, the Gen-III Innovator of the Year recognizes individuals whose work is changing the way the automotive aftermarket does business. He or she may have been the first to act on a new trend, invented an original product or devised and implemented ideas that better suit the current automotive marketplace.
“It is truly an honor to be named a finalist for an award that recognizes hard work and innovation in such a large and dynamic industry,” said Justin Hartenstein, Oracle Lighting director of development who founded Oracle Lighting in his garage in 1999. “And to top it off, Oracle Lighting has received another prestigious honor as being named a finalist for Manufacturer of the Year. I would like to congratulate our team for making this happen as 2020 and 2021 have been tough on our industry and, despite this challenge, Oracle Lighting has continued to accelerate and grow.”
The SEMA Industry Awards recognize outstanding contributions to the specialty-equipment industry. Winners will be announced and recognized during the SEMA Industry Awards Banquet, Thursday, November 4 at The SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nev.
When the Coronavirus pandemic first began, as for many other manufacturers, demand began to decrease as the economy slowed. Being the innovator that he is, Hartenstein pivoted and redirected his energy into an anti-virus device utilizing UV lighting technology. The result was the A.I.R. Device (Antimicrobial Irradiation Respirator), the world's first UV face mask. In 2021, Oracle Lighting donated many of these masks to local Louisiana charities to help slow the spread.
In 2021, Oracle Lighting was also ranked as the third fastest growing company in the entire metro New Orleans area, with a three-year growth rate of 56 percent, according to New Orleans CityBusiness magazine.
Besides being a trend-setter, enthusiast, and innovator, Hartenstein is also an advocate for the automotive lighting aftermarket, making him an excellent candidate for this award. He sees the challenges that are taking a toll on the aftermarket lighting industry such as overseas counterfeiting. After months of working with foreign courts, attorneys, private investigators, and other authorities in China, Hartenstein filed and won legal action against an underground counterfeit factory ring in China that has repeatedly violated not only the Intellectual Property of ORACLE Lighting but of a half dozen other SEMA manufacturers.
In 2021, Oracle Lighting won its legal battle against a Chinese-based manufacturer of imitation products after a failed appeal process by the defendant. Hartenstein hopes to use this experience to create a roadmap for other SEMA manufacturers to follow in order to receive relief from the damage caused by illicit counterfeiting in the industry.

In a Move to Enforce its Intellectual Property Rights, Oracle Lighting is Filing Design Patent Infringement Cases Against Producers of Knockoff Vector™ Grilles in China
METAIRE, LA, USA, Aug. 1, 2019 – Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com), the market leader in creating high quality lighting products and innovative LED solutions for the automotive/12Volt, powersports, motorcycle, and marine markets, has announced that it is enforcing its intellectual property rights and is filing design patent infringement cases against knockoff producers. Shortly after Oracle Lighting's Vector™ Grille was unveiled at a Las Vegas, Nev. trade show in 2017, Chinese knockoffs began appearing on the market.
The move follows months of investigations and undercover operations in China, where factories producing knockoff goods are often designed to be packed up and moved overnight, making them hard to pin down. Oracle Lighting recently filed their first case against an operation producing knockoff Vector™ Grilles and other products in Intellectual Property Division of Suzhou Intermediate People’s Court - (2019) Suzhou 05 Intellectual Property First Instance No. 580. Oracle Lighting initiated the action in the hope that it sets an example for other businesses trying to protect their intellectual property rights.
Justin Hartenstein, Director of Product Development at Oracle Lighting, emphasized that this is just the company's first step toward protecting itself against knockoffs. "We take our intellectual property rights very seriously and are willing to do whatever it takes to prevent the theft of our patented designs. If that means going to court in China or any other country, we'll be there," he said.
Designed for use on the Jeep Wrangler JL, Oracle Lighting's aftermarket Vector™ Grille has earned the company awards from the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), including a 2018 Global Media Award and a runner-up award for the SEMA Best New Exterior Accessory Product of 2019.

Appeals Court Judge Told the Defendant That Their Position “Can Hardly Be Supported”
METAIRE, LA, USA, March 9, 2021 – Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com), an innovator in high quality LED lighting solutions for the automotive industry, is proud to announce that it has won its legal battle against a Chinese-based manufacturer of imitation products after a failed appeal process by the defendant.
According to Oracle Lighting’s attorney, the defendant appealed the lower court’s decision in a last-ditch effort to circumvent Oracle Lighting’s patent based on their argument that they had developed the design prior to Oracle Lighting. However, the defendant withdrew the appeal following an appeal hearing in which the Appeals Court judge told the defendant that their position “can hardly be supported”.
Shortly after Oracle Lighting unveiled its Vector™ LED Grill System at a trade show in 2017, Chinese knockoffs began appearing. “After nearly a year of work designing and developing this product, it was honestly heartbreaking to find knockoff products pop up online,” explained Justin Hartenstein, Director of Product Development at Oracle Lighting. “I had seen this happen before to other manufacturers in our industry and decided that we were not going to stand for this blatant design theft. We worked with our IP attorney, Jeffrey Banyas of Edwin A. Sisson, Attorney at Law, LLC, to develop and execute a strategy to take action against the overseas knockoff producers. I knew it would not be easy but I had no idea where this journey would take us.”
The court’s decision included an order for the defendant to immediately cease infringing upon Oracle Lighting’s patent. The court also ordered the defendant pay significant monetary damages to Oracle Lighting and ordered that the defendant pay certain court costs associated with the litigation. In doing so, the court also rejected the defendant’s arguments that they had come up with the design for this particular grill prior to Oracle Lighting filing its design patent application.
“In order for us to file litigation against the infringing company, the Chinese court explained that we had to first complete a ‘notarized purchase’, which basically translates to us having to conduct our own sting operation,” Hartenstein continued. “Our attorney assisted us in hiring private investigators overseas who, after months of investigation, used a cover story to gain access to the factory and, with hidden cameras, obtained evidence of the counterfeit parts. The entire operation had to be covert because these factories producing knockoff goods are often designed to be packed up and moved overnight, making them hard to pin down. Once our legal team in China presented this evidence to the judge, the court issued a demand to the factory to shut down production and the nearly two-year-long litigation process began. This was a massive undertaking for our company but I pursued this in the hope that it provides insight for other small businesses trying to protect their intellectual property rights overseas. It was not easy but these results demonstrate that even overseas counterfeiters can be held accountable. Oracle Lighting takes our intellectual property rights very seriously and we are willing to do whatever it takes to prevent the blatant theft of our patented designs.”
Banyas explained that Oracle Lighting asked his firm to develop and implement a plan to protect its products against overseas knockoffs and counterfeits. “This was no easy task as those who deal in illegal products often take extensive measures to insulate themselves from liability and accountability,” he explained. “Through our firms’ extensive network of private investigators and international law firms, we identified the factory making the knockoff products and obtained all of the evidence we needed to enforce Oracle Lighting’s Intellectual Property Rights. We thank the Suzhou Intermediate People’s Court for giving us a fair day in court and we hope that this decision serves as a strong example to other American companies that they can enforce their Intellectual Property Rights in China, and they do not simply have to accept lost market share to Chinese knockoffs and counterfeit products as an inevitable cost of doing business. I applaud the folks at Oracle Lighting for bucking that trend, and I am proud to have spearheaded the efforts that lead to these successful results.”
Designed for use on the Jeep Wrangler, Oracle Lighting's innovative Vector™ Grill has earned the company awards from the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), including a 2018 Global Media Award and a runner-up award for the SEMA Best New Exterior Accessory Product of 2019.

The Metairie, LA-Based Company Has Been a Market Leader in Innovative LED Lighting Solutions for the Automotive Aftermarket Since 1999
METAIRE, LA, Oct. 22, 2020 – Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com) is proud to announce that for the second year in a row, founder Justin Hartenstein has been named a finalist for the prestigious SEMA Gen-III Innovator of the Year. Hartenstein was also a 2019 finalist.
“Once again, it is truly an honor to be nominated for an award that recognizes hard work and innovation in such a large and dynamic industry,” said Hartenstein, who founded Oracle Lighting in his garage in 1999.
The Ultraviolet Irradiation produced from specialized UV-C LEDs protects the user wearing the A.I.R. by inactivating bacteria, pathogens, and viruses- including COVID-19. This multi-patent pending innovation has gained global attention for its unique and effective anti-viral design.
He hopes to use this experience to create a roadmap for other SEMA manufacturers to follow in order to receive relief from the damage caused by illicit counterfeiting in the industry.
According to the SEMA360 website, with the 2020 SEMA Show live event in Las Vegas not taking place and the industry recognizing the need for a viable marketplace during these challenging times, SEMA360 was created. As an online ecommerce solution taking place Nov. 2-6, 2020, SEMA360 focuses on manufacturer/attendee/media relationships, new product introductions, project vehicle debuts, industry-leading education and unparalleled networking opportunities. SEMA360 will leverage the association's exclusive manufacturer and attendee databases and media partnerships to provide participants with the best online experience and maximum value.
