The Industry's #1 Resource

North Andover, MA – August 15, 2025 – The Mobile Electronics Association (MEA) is thrilled to announce a special guest appearance by Gene from Jazz Audio, at the upcoming KnowledgeFest Dallas Fort Worth event.
Gene, who recently appeared on the popular television show The Fixer with Marcus Lemonis, will participate in a fireside chat on the MEA main stage.

The event, scheduled for Sunday, August 24, at 3:00 p.m., will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to hear directly from Gene about his transformative experience on the show. In a candid interview format, he will share insights into the challenges his business faced and how the strategic advice and guidance from business mogul Marcus Lemonis helped him turn his company around.

"We are incredibly excited to welcome Gene to KnowledgeFest Dallas Fort Worth," said Chris Cook, President of the Mobile Electronics Association. "His story is a powerful testament to the impact of mentorship and strategic business planning. We believe his firsthand account of working with Marcus Lemonis will be both inspiring and highly valuable to our members and the wider mobile electronics community."

"Gene and Jazz Audio are typical of many retailers, who still have the passion but lack the information and guidance to help them become more successful" said Tony Frangiosa, Chairman of the Mobile Electronics Association. "His willingness to share his journey and the lessons learned from a business icon like Marcus Lemonis will provide invaluable inspiration and practical knowledge to everyone at KnowledgeFest Dallas Fort Worth."

Since the episode, Jazz Audio has joined MEA, Gene and an installer will be attending KnowledgeFest workshops, and will be launching a new MEA website at NewJazzAudio.com, where others can learn more about his business transformation.
The fireside chat will be held in the MEA booth and is expected to be a highlight of the weekend's events. Attendees will learn about practical business strategies, the importance of operational efficiency, and the mindset required to navigate and overcome business obstacles.

North Andover, MA – June 30, 2025 - The Mobile Electronics Association (MEA) is excited to announce significant changes to its upcoming KnowledgeFest Dallas event, now scheduled for August 24-25, 2025. The event will now be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center, offering attendees discounted rates at the adjacent Omni Hotel, conveniently located a short distance from both DFW and Love Field airports.

The education workshops and training sessions will span two days; Sunday, August 24 and Monday, August 25, the exhibitor show floor will have extended hours for both Sunday and Monday.

“Changing the venue from Downtown Dallas to Fort Worth, less than 30 minutes away, will save attendees hundreds of dollars.” stated Chris Cook, President of MEA. Retailer surveys have indicated that time and expense are the biggest obstacles to attending KnowledgeFest. “This change, along with other savings programs and value-adds to come, leave no doubt about an attendees return-on-investment from KnowledgeFest.”

The event will kick off with a welcome networking reception Saturday evening and then Monday night will feature the Mobile Electronics Industry Hall of Fame Class of 2025 inductees ceremony, honoring individuals who have made a significant contribution to the industry while impacting people.

Jim Rogers of Audio Innovations Conway, a long-time attendee and retailer, shared his excitement: "The new venue and extended show floor hours are fantastic changes. The cost savings and convenience will make it much easier for us to bring more people from our store and get the most out of the event. KnowledgeFest has always been a valuable experience, and these updates make it even better."

MEA is also pleased to announce that first-time KnowledgeFest attendees will receive free MEA membership and registration, along with special offers from exhibitors. These attendees will display a First-Time flag on their badge to signify their status and unlock exclusive benefits.

MEA is committed to providing valuable experiences and opportunities for all attendees, ensuring that KnowledgeFest remains the premier event for mobile electronics professionals.
