6-21-2017 -- All (10) NEW CTA 2006 certified Blade “BP Series” amplifiers from Massive Audio™ are now shipping. The New Massive Blade “BP” amplifiers are “Priced to Move Fast and Designed to Play Hard.” All 10 models have built-in OEM line converters with ATO (auto turn on) at up to 9 Volts with wired speaker leads directly into the RCAs.

No 12V turn on lead is needed (hi-input) because all Blade BP amps can sense the D.C. offset of the radio and can turn on & off the amp automatically. It also takes the 12V turn-on lead and converts it into a 12V Out that will turn-on a second product that maybe used in a system. All Blade “BP” series amps are Class AB designed with a minimum per channel impedance operation of 2 Ohm with exception of the BP2000.1 & BP1200.1 which are Class “D” and play down to 1 Ohm minimum.

All Blade “BP” amps use Mil Spec PCBs with SMD parts, advanced 5 way protection, full MOSFET high grade switching devices and all comply with the “World Wide Standards”, “ROHS”, “E-Mark” and are CTA2006 Compliant.

The award was given by P&E Distributing at their annual dealer show in Murfreesboro TN March 17 & 18. March 8, 2019 -- Just when you thought that it was too complicated to properly power up megawatt subwoofers Massive Audio comes along and releases the DP24K Super Amp! 

All Digital, Ultra High-Speed Switching, Crystal Clean Full Range with a TRUE power output of 24,192 Watts RMS @ 1 ohm @ 18V. Current drawn at 1 Ohm impedance is a staggering 1,550 Amps / 14.4 VDC).

This amplifier measures in at only 2.98” x 10.86” x 24.09” and packs twin full time exhaust fans to cool its output. The DP24K can do all this and operate at DC 9V—18V. Protection is key and is controlled by a processor that illuminates a red LED when 85 percent of the amplifier’s capacity limit is reached. Adjustable Hi Pass and Low Pass crossovers along with a parametric equalizer with a variable 0-12dB bass boost allow for complete control.

This new mechanical design allows for bottom-plate anchored mounting and will replace traditional ‘bottom pole-piece venting’ by redirecting the heat from the pole piece to the bottom of the spider and through the custom basket which reduces overall depth for limited space installations.

“By bolting this machine screw (through the back of the enclosure directly to the backplate of the subwoofer) you will minimize 'box flexing' and reduce the airspace needed in the box itself. Minimizing box flexing will increase efficiency by converting the wasted electrical power from the amplifier, directly to the mechanical linear subwoofer cone's movement, which will minimize distortion and add more efficient bass reproduction. Without this new design you would traditionally need around an inch or more from the back of the subwoofer to the back of the box.” Says Corey Hyler, Product Manager for Massive Audio.

On the back of the SUMMO64S you will find a removable machined screw. Simply remove the screw, load the subwoofer in the enclosure so that the back of the box is flush with the back of the subwoofer, then replace the screw through the back of the enclosure to the baffle of the subwoofer. This design will allow a unique advantage of bracing the front baffle, the subwoofer and the back baffle together as one, which will make the subwoofer and the enclosure as one plane. This will not only make for a smaller box but more importantly add more bass! This is due to the energy not being spent on box flexing and in turn producing more low frequency output!

Massive Audio PNX, HNX loudspeakers and Trident Series Amplifiers are made to reproduce live music 16/24/32 bit not just limited recorded music. Like tube amplifiers, most class d amplifiers use big filters on the outputs that limit the low end and high-end frequency response. Massive Audio Trident amplifiers have a high switching frequency, switching well over the four hundred Kilohertz range, twenty times that of a traditional Class D. A 20 to 1 ratio between the switching frequency of the pulse in traditional class d. 400,000 x 20 is how fast it’s switching utilizing almost no filtering.  Most class d amplifiers switch at 100,000 Kilohertz per second which is not much above 20,000 Kilohertz audible range at a 5 to 1 while our Trident series designs are at a 20 to 1 with more content and more bandwidth.
