Mobile Electronics Conducts First-Ever Consumer Preference Survey

Tuesday, February 28, 2012 -- Torrance, CA - Mobile Electronics magazine, the industry's premier print resource for news and information to better the mobile electronics industry, announced that it has performed its first of several consumer preference surveys. The first survey, covering consumer opinions of the features and benefits of remote starters, will debut in the upcoming issue of the magazine.

"This is something we've been planning for a while, and we are finally glad it's coming to fruition," said Solomon Daniels, editor-in-chief of Mobile Electronics. "Our consumer group seems to be pleased to provide their thoughts and opinions of remote starters, and we hope this enthusiasm and participation continues as we delve into other product categories throughout the year."

Mobile Electronics' consumer preference data will be a standard part of the magazine for 2012, augmenting the Products section of the publication. Each issue will feature a product category that correlates to the time of the year when the magazine mails. The consumer preference information is designed to allow retail sales personnel to better serve customer needs by giving them consumer insight on opinions of products, intended use, desired features, potential objections, expected price and preferred add-ons.

Mobile Electronics' consumer list consists of individuals nationwide who have purchased from a mobile electronics specialist retailer in the past two years.

"The delivery of basic product information in a monthly or bi-monthly print publication doesn't hold the value it used to because of the speed of the Internet," continued Daniels. "Therefore, we want to make sure we are providing valuable content to retailers that empower them to be more effective with their customers, leading to stronger rapport, in-store sell-through and enhanced profitability."
