Rydeen’s N2 and N4 Rear-View Safety Systems Now Shipping

- rydeenmobile.com

Rydeen Inc. has announced that the N2/N4 Rear-View Safety System is available and shipping. MSRP for the units is $100 for the N2 (two-sensor package) and $140.00 for the N4 (four-sensor package). Add-on cameras and monitors are also available and sold separately.

The N series rear-view safety systems utilize a triple-source control module that combines ultrasonic sensing, wide-view video and real-time distance and direction calculations. The system activates in reverse gear, and the built-in speaker emits a series of quickening beeps as the driver gets closer to an obstruction. Additionally, the control module accepts a rear-view camera feed, overlays it with a distance measurement and directional arrows, and feeds it out to a monitor or video interface.

Pair the N2 or N4 with one of several cameras, including Rydeen’s universal-mount models, the reverse-mount CM700N-130B, or the screw-in ZH-7110S mini camera. For video, add the Rydeen BM350 3.5-inch dash-mount monitor, or the M007 7-inch monitor, which comes with accessories for dash, flush or visor mounting. The N2 and N4 also connect directly to the video input of the company’s MN302 and MN305 Navigation Mirrors. Or, connect to video interfaces that feed factory screens (interfaces sold separately and availability is dependent on the year, make and model of vehicle).

The N2 and N4 also come with a drill bit for mounting the sensors. For more information, call (877)777-8811 to locate a sales representative, or visit rydeenmobile.com.
