Rockford 3Sixty Digital Signal Processor

Rockford introduces its new 3Sixty digital signal processor, designed to allow installers to incorporate multiple amps, sub-solutions and speakers and tune factory and aftermarket source units via a graphical user interface. This device allows installation technicians and audiophiles to tune head units or using the unit’s Auto Equalization feature that corrects factory settings, and auto summing that creates a full-range audio sign, while retaining factory steering wheel, navigation and phone controls, among other features. For tuning source units, this device offers a 6-channel 1/3 octave equalizer; 1 Band EQ, left and right front; 27 Band EQ, left and right rear; 27 Band EQ, center; and 10 Band EQ, subwoofer. This device features fully interactive controls via a Bluetooth-enabled device. It can be controlled via a laptop or PDA, can be tuned from the front seat of a vehicle wirelessly and allows for real time adjustment (so you can hear the changes as you make them). Other features include an auxiliary input with 31 band EQ, allowing for the connection of iPod/Satellite radio/ MP3 players (via RCA). Crossover features include 12/24 dB HP/LP/BP/AP per octave crossover; increased speaker power handling coupled with a broader frequency range; it allows for superior integration between high pass and low pass speakers; master volume/subwoofer level control; front seat control for song to song manipulation. It is a Balanced Line driver (RF-BLD) that eliminates system noise, accepts high-level/RCA level inputs and offers up to 24dB of signal gain. One other feature is savable files, which allow users to load files for different listening preferences and allow dealers to load custom files to any 3Sixty.

NAV-TV offers its Barracuda, a multi-purpose plug-and-play interface for late-model Cadillac, Chevrolet and General Motors vehicles equipped with the 29-Bit GMLAN factory Navigation/DVD A/V system. Barracuda supports DVD video in motion, navigation destination entry, Onstar and Bluetooth operation, satellite radio category scrolling, DVD menu control, forced rearview camera and FLIR night vision or baby camera viewing while in motion (camera operation, the vehicle must be equipped with a factory rear view camera or be compatible with the NAV-TV GMLANCAM RVC programming module). Two fully programmable and configurable power outputs are provided to power add-on equipment standard. For visual verification of state, ease of use and product initialization, the programming menu and all functions of the Barracuda are displayed as text on the factory information cluster. In addition, the Barracuda functions as a controller for the FLIR full-featured night vision camera giving the user the ability to view the camera image in full color (rainbow), white hot, black hot or sepia, invert the picture image or digitally zoom the image 2x when either the high beams are selected or automatically at a desired speed.
